Flooded Yard with Bougainvillea

Mike Thomsen, a friend from Mesa, Ariz., took this photo recently of his flooded yard with a bougainvillea on the opposite shore. Normally, his yard is not flooded. The flooding is a form of government-regulated lawn watering that occurs in certain parts of town on a regular schedule. -- Jer
